Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate has finally gotten to appoint the Yobe State Governor and also the former Chairman APC Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Mai Mala Buni, as the main adviser on Party Integration and Reconciliation of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council in his fresh nominations for the political party.

In the letter of appointment which had been signed by Tinubu and sighted by Africa Daily News, New York, the appointment had been based on Buni’s impressive political achievement and the exemplary leadership he had also demonstrated as the Governor of Yobe State and as a party member.

He had also added that the appointment will ensure victory for the APC in the February 2023 election and move Nigeria along the path of national greatness by building on the achievements of the party and the President Muhammadu Buhari administration in providing good progressive governance to Nigerians.

Part of the letter read: “By way of this letter, we are pleased to formally convey your appointment as the Adviser on Party Integration & Reconciliation of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council

“This appointment is fitting and appropriate given your impressive political achievement and the exemplary leadership you have demonstrated as governor of your state and as a party member.

“We are grateful that you have joined our campaign team. We know you will do your utmost in this new responsibility so we conduct an effective, message-driven campaign leading us to victory in the 2023 presidential election.

In another report, ahead of the 2023 election, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Nigerians to commit to the unity and development of the country as the only way to honour the nation’s founding fathers.

He pointed out that the difficult times may not lend to a wholesome appreciation of the struggles of the founding fathers.

The APC presidential flagbearer, however, asserted that the nation is commemorating the independence anniversary because of their patriotic effort to bequeath united, virile nation to future generations.
