In the joyous spirit of Sallah, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has openly felicitated with Nigerians, particularly the Muslims, as they celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir for 2022.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Felix Morka had also assured that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government will continue to prioritise the well-being and safety of all Nigerians.

He, however, called on Nigerians to place national interest first in all their dealings and shun retrogressive elements seeking to divide the country through terror and hate.

He also noted that the Eid-El-Kabir festival required sacrifice, submission, and devotion to Allah.

“We enjoin the Muslim Ummah, during this period, to recommit themselves to Islamic teachings of understanding, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence.

“As we celebrate with family, friends, and other loved ones, we will do well to be our brothers’ keeper by extending kindness to our neighbours, particularly the needy and less-privileged.

In another report, the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has openly hinted that he might be attending the grand rally for the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Osun governorship election which would be holding next week.

President Muhammadu Buhari made the disclosure when he received Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and party leaders on Wednesday. The President had done the ceremonial presentation of the APC flag to the candidate to wish him much success.

The Nigerian leader had also assured that the party was committed to furthering the development journey of Osun. He commended Oyetola for serving the people in his first term in office, adding that he is confident that APC would.

Buhari hailed co-chairs of the Governorship Campaign Council, Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Abdullahi Ganduje, as well as the vice chairman, Governor Abubakar Bello.
