The national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as well as former Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria, dispelling rumours about his death in the process.

The one time Senator is said to be battling ailments associated with old age. He clocked 69 years on March 29.

Africa Daily News, New York recalls that Tinubu was conspicuously absent when President Muhammadu Buhari commissioned the Lagos-Ibadan standard gauge last Thursday.
The politician has travelled out of the country at least three times in the last year.
Tinubu is believed to be interested in running for the presidency in 2023. His loyalists have started subtle campaigns and mobilisaton.
