Why G20 Meeting Will Hold Without China

Following the outbreak of the deadly virus ”COVID-19”, China’s central bank and its finance ministry announced that its officials wouldn’t attend the coming G20 meeting in Riyadh.

Officials said the country will not send any officials to a G20 meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors due to virus outbreak.

However, Chinese representatives at the World Bank will attend the meeting, to be held Feb. 22 and 23, an official at the finance ministry said.
