Children

In the case of children, a well articulated social curriculum that will be formed with total regard to our African good cultural ethics and national civic etiquettes should be formulated and role out for the young ones to assimilate while they are still young so as to reduce the stress of bending them towards becoming patriotic, selfless and excellence minded when they become older; knowing fully well that this is what we lack as a nation. Doing this will build up their mental/will power towards protecting the interest of Nigeria. And will also help them understand the duty they owe to Nigeria as citizens of Nigeria, as well as achieving greatness individually.

YOUTHS

Leaders of today are inarguably the youths of yesterday. In the same way the youths of today are leaders of tomorrow. If well analysed you will understand that the actions of our leaders today are the replica of what they learn yesterday as youths. This made this very clear that our youths will definitely burn down this nation when they finally take over the leadership in the near future unless something serious is done and this is where their own reformation comes in.

The first step that our elders must take is to truthfully accept to have lead our country astray. This will be followed by them dropping the bad system of governance which have neglected the needs of Nigerians and adopt a life changing program for all citizens. Then it will be followed by rolling out a well articulated program that will help form a new conscience among the youths whose conscience have been deformed by collonial exploitative tree planted by Britain which has selfishness and wickedness as its tap root.

In the recent time all that is being done is for youths is to engage them in one program or the other to teach them one skill or the other which will amount to little or no success. The truth is that what majority of our youths need is proper mental formation not skill and certificate acquisition. Instilling proper mental formation in them will address the way they think which will directly affect the way they act. This will also affect how productive they become in life as it is said that as a man thinks so he is. After several personal experience I come to believe that what is lacking in Nigeria youths is not the will power ; youths are ever ready to work. It is not strength; youths are laden with strength. It is not lack of opportunity ; for opportunity abound in our nation. It’s s not lack of information ; it is flowing like the river Niger. What the youths lack is the proper mental formation that will make every youth know the right thing to do at every point in time and going further to doing them. To achieve success without compromising the ethical and moral standard we believe in; upon which every successful nation is built upon.

Youths should be reformed by uprooting, gathering and burning all the elements of colonialism. And new nursery prepared for the planting of seeds of selflessness, patriotism and excellence. Investment should be made in the life of youths not by building mansions for them but by building selfless, patriotic and excellence base concience in them. This will make them ever ready to pay the need price  that is required in taking Nigeria into her greater tomorrow. Our Youths do not need a fish but the will power to fish and not just that but the excellent mind to fish excellently. When Will power is developed, standing upon tripod of patriotism, selflessness and excellence, they will happily follow you to the river as it is morning. Show them how to fish, give them hook, give them line and sinker and go your way. Return in the evening to carry home baskets laden with fishes.
