Why is that boy such a nuisance?

 KADIRI

He’s actually giving us headache in this house; I really have to ask them to vacate my apartment.

 MRS. KADIRI

Daddy, that will certainly affect his friend and you know he is such a nice boy; he’s not rough like Collins.

63. INT, SWIFT COMMUNICATIONS.

In the CONFERENCE ROOM of the COMPANY, the MD/CEO and other DIRECTORS CONVENE for a BOARD meeting.

MR BEN

Mr. Ken bluntly refused to accept our offer and the only alternative we have now is to quickly get another good creative and brand management company as his to sell our new corporate image and services before we crash out of the market.

 AKANDE

It still beats my imagination that Mr. Ken deliberately refused to honour our negotiation despite the pleading we made to him.

 MISS OSONDU

Well, Mr. Akande, that shouldn’t bother you right now, what we should be talking about here, is the way forward.

 MRS. WILLIAMS

Way forward indeed! Do you sincerely want the progress of this company, Miss Osondu? After all, all you desire is its ruin.

 MISS OSONDU

I take a serious exception to such statement please watch your tongue.

 MRS. WILLIAMS

And what if I don’t what will you do?

 BEN

Enough! Enough! Women! I’m sick and tired of you both confronting each other any time we have a serious matter to tackle. Please I don’t want any more of such nonsense here do I make myself clear?

…to be continued.
