Family Unveils Funeral Plans For Actress Ada Ameh

The family of Ada Ameh, the actress who had played the character of ‘Emu’ on the television comedy show, The Johnsons have finally been announced as they round up with their final preparations.

A novelty match has also been announced in her honour on August 19 which is going to be holding at the Nathaniel Idowu Pitch, Oregie, Lagos.

The match will then be followed by a candlelight procession at Teslim Balogun Stadium on the same day.

On Thursday, August 25, there will be yet another candlelight service at Saint Mary’s Primary School, Ogobia, Benue State. This would be followed by the funeral service and interment at her father’s compound in Otukpo Local Government of Benue State.

Her Obituary poster has left her family, fans and colleagues in tears, as many left crying emojis under the announcement.

Ada Ameh died on Sunday, July 17.

Another tragedy has befallen the Nigerian Nollywood sector as Emeka Rollas, who is the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, had confirmed that Ada Ameh had died on Sunday at a Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) hospital in Delta State.

According to reports, the actress had kicked the bucket in Warri, Delta State around 11 pm on Sunday.

Ada Ameh was said to have been a guest of an oil company bigwig and his family when she had suddenly collapsed. It was gathered that she was rushed to the NNPC’s hospital but passed on before they arrived the facility.

Report has it that several movie stars have been trooping the facility on Monday morning to see her remains.

Ameh, became famous following the role of she played (Anita) in the movie ‘Domitilla’ in 1996, and was more recently adorned for her comic characters especially in the series, The Johnsons.
