Bishop David Oyedepo who is the Founder and President of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has minced no words as he lambasted President Muhammadu Bubari’s administration, tagging it the most corrupt regime the country has ever seen so far.

Oyedepo, who spoke during a church programme, Special Prayer for The Nation, on Monday lamented the level of hardship imposed on Nigerians through corruption.

According to Oyedepo, the Federal Government claimed to be fighting corruption but the officials are also corrupt.

He said the ₦80 billion allegedly stolen by the Accountant-General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris, would be enough to meet the demands of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, which led to the shutting down of schools since April 14.

He said, “Many children are out of school, there is nothing to pay to get them back to school. We saw some folks in Covenant University that we had to help out to graduate. First-class students can’t get N30,000 to pay under this wicked government, selfish, self-centered.

“What a fight against corruption? You were all deceived, you can’t be in corruption and be fighting corruption. This is the most corrupt regime in the history of Nigeria.

“You heard of Auditor General who stole N80 billion, all they need to get the university up and running is less than the N80 billion but they are not interested because their children are not there.”

In another report, Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church has claimed that the gunmen who attacked and killed over 40 worshippers of St. Francis Catholic Church Owo in Ondo State have all been found.

Recall that some bloodthirsty gunmen two Sundays ago, attacked the church during worship hour and opened fire on people, leading to the death of about 43 worshippers while others were seriously injured.

Oyedepo had while reacting to the news, declared seven days ultimatum for the assailants to be arrested, saying if they escape, then he is not sent by God.

Reports emerged on Thursday night via a trending video that the attackers have been arrested in the state.

The Ondo State Police Command, however, denied the report, saying the information was only a rumour.

But Oyedepo while speaking at a sermon at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State, thanked God that the criminal elements have all been found.

He said, “Our God answers prayers, all those demons that attacked the Church in Owo have all been found. It is not seven days yet. In the same way, all the enemies of your soul shall be caught and judged and sent to eternal silence.

“I said of they are not caught within seven days then I’m not called by God, now, they have all been caught. The end has come for all their sponsors also. They steal and then use the stolen money to torment the people”.
