COVID-19 Spike Lagos Now Records 6 Deaths Daily —Sanwo-Olu

As the third wave of the rampaging COVID-19 pandemic rages on in Nigeria, Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has revealed that an average of six deaths was recorded daily over the last week in Lagos as a result of the sneaky virus.

Sanwo-Olu made this disclosure on Monday while briefing State House correspondents at Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja, on the situation report and update on the management of COVID-19 in the state.

The governor also stated that the AstraZeneca and Moderna vaccines against the virus can not be mixed as it has been confirmed dangerous to human health.

The third wave of the virus in Nigeria has seen a spike in the number of confirmed cases even as the government considers the best approach suitable to control spread.
