Chief Better Joseph Ekeh, chairman of Adavinn Inn, Chief Executive of Alaowerri Restaurant, London and an administrator of the Owerri-zone socio-political group has condemned the arson and murder which were committed at Governor Hope Uzodinmaβs hometown in Omuma, Oru East local government area of Imo State on the 24th of April, 2021.
In a call that he put across to Africa Daily News, New York, he condemned in all entirety the act of vandalism which was committed against the country home-stead of the Governor of Imo State. He also decried the callousness of the allegedly unknown gunmen who killed the security guards on duty in broad daylight while carrying out their nefarious activity.

‘It is terrible that in this 21st century, some group of people have decided to take on an unnecessary vendetta against the Governor of Imo State in a bid to blackmail and wear him down.’‘What these unknown gunmen did to Governor Hope Uzodinma’s home is completely awful and absurd and it should not go unpunished.’
‘This is why I am calling on the neccesary security agencies to hasten their investigation and put a check to the activities of this terrible group who have decided to turn the good state of Imo into an uninhabitable wasteland’.
Recall that Governor Hope Uzodinma’s home was razed down by a group of people who were labelled as unknown gunmen after they had threatened to cause mayhem in Imo State if Governor Hope Uzodinma does not step down from office.
