Last week, the social media in Nigeria was awsh with news that the Federal Commissioner representing Imo state in the Public Complaints Commission Nigeria, High Chief Barrister Willie Amadi was involved in an exposed sex tryst which was further accentuated with the release of an alleged sex video which showed the top politician in a compromising sex position.
The speed at which this information spread to all parts and sectors of Nigeria through the social media and other media outlets only goes ahead to lay credence to the saying that ‘Nothing travels faster than bad news’. And even though the High Chief pleaded his complete innocence on the matter, no one wanted to hear his own side of the story.

Luck however was on his side as the mastermind of the falsified misinformation was tracked down and caught after confessing to the misdeeds and how he was paid to generate and impose Barrister Willie Amadi’s photo onto a sex scene to further add credence to the false news and completely tarnish his image which would in turn see that he is completely ousted from the Federal Commission.
According to Peter Nwoke, a 20 year old school leaver who was the mastermind of the dastardly act, he managed to get a hold of the Commisoner’s smartphone and he hacked into it and downloaded some private photos of the Commissioner which he took while in a swimming pool.
With these photos, it was very easy to find a good sex scene where he easily imposed the photos of the commissioners using some computer softwares and other video editing tools. When he was done with the video, he quickly uploaded the edited video clip while supporting it with a damning news article against the commissioner to further nail him. He alleged that he was paid to carry out this act but he didn’t mention his sponsors.
This goes to show the length which detractros and never do wells would go to tarnish and ruin an individuals reputation. As with Barrister Willie Amadi who holds a very extolled position as a Federal Commsioner in the Public Complaints Commission Nigeria, there is always room for envy and enemies too and these enemies have shown that they would stop at nothing to see that Barrister Willie Amadi loses his position and his political career.
Barrister Willie Amadi is a good man and a very dedicated politician who has held several top positions in the State Government and the Federal Goverment alike. Trying to take down a good man like Barrister Willie Amadi who has no flaw in his character is something that would be a very difficult task for detractors who want to see the end of him.
The prepertrtor has since been charged to the Magistrate Court Isu, holden at Umundugba where he pleaded guilty to the one count charge of defamation of character and was sentenced to a one year imprisonment.
