In New York, one of the greatest cities in the World, there are a lot of tourist attractions and exotic locations. But when it comes to cuisine, there is only one restaurant that stands out among the others and it’s the ‘Taste So Good (Make You Wanna Smack Yo Mamma)’ Restaurant.

The Caribbean-American joint, Taste So Good (Make You Wanna Smack Your Mama)  is located in Bronx County of New York state. On the street of Lafayette Avenue and street number is 1752. It is owned by 21-year-old Top skateboarder, Tyshawn ‘TJ’ Jones.

Taste So Good has that familiar feel of an NYC Chinese take-out spot. But rather than just ordering up some food, here you can grab the spicy jerked chicken, collard greens, oxtail, peas and rice, mac ‘n cheese, and anything else that comes to mind when you hear ‘Carribean-American cuisine’.

Bench seating along the street-facing windows lets you lurk like a local, or you can stare through the kitchen-facing window at trays of sumptuous chicken and stews as you ponder what else to add to your order.

A medium plate (1 entrée + 2 sides, $12) is a filling lunch or dinner, and with two dozen dishes you won’t run out of options. Lunch specials for $7.50 are a satisfying choice, and fried chicken and waffle combos with plain or red velvet waffles are the ideal treat.

You can get meals like and side dishes like cornbread, fried catfish, barbecued ribs, chitterlings, and neckbones They also cooked greens (collards, beets, dandelion, kale, and purslane) and sweet potatoes with varieties of Chicken and Chicken sauce to go with it. They also offer other assorted intercontinental dishes as part of their private order cuisine.

Taste So Good is run with the best New York Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Standards and as such has an ‘A’ rating from the department.
