Dabiru Saleh, the judge who annulled the June 12, 1993 presidential election, won by MKO Abiola, is dead.

TheCable reports that Saleh has been buried according Muslim rites in Azare, his hometown, in Bauchi on Thursday evening.

Saleh, until his death, held the title of “Mutawallen” of Katagum emirate in Bauchi.

He served as the Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court.
