Nigerians React To Surging Coronavirus Cases In Kano

Nigerians have reacted to the surge in coronavirus cases in Kano state, as the state for the first time recorded more cases than Lagos.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday night confirmed 80 new cases for the state, its largest for a single day.

Lagos has 40 cases and 976 overall.

As of Thursday, 30 April, Kano has 219 coronavirus cases and 5 deaths.

The state has now overtaken Abuja for the second position after Lagos.

NCDC reported 204 cases and kano are taking charge with 80 reported cases and there are people in kano that doesn’t believe this virus exists.
