On Thursday, Lagos recorded 45 new cases, which represents a drop from the 87 highest cases recorded on Wednesday.
It currently has 976 confirmed coronavirus infections, according to the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
The state is likely to ramp in more than 24 cases today to take its total coronavirus infections above 1,000.
So far, Lagos, with 976 confirmed cases, has recorded 21 deaths and has 756 active cases, with 199 survivors discharged so far.
