Nigeria, as Buhari left it today, can be said to be literally sitting on a keg of gun powder awaiting explosion. Nigerians have been pushed to the wall for a very long time, and they have gotten to their elastic limit. Nigeria is a nation that is not at war but has seen more killings than Syria that is in full-blown war.

Failure of governance, bad economy, hunger and brutal killings are an integral part of the problem.

It all started when the fake Buhari told Nigerians in an interview that he wasn’t going to treat the Igbos like the rest of Nigeria because they gave him 5% votes. He was cheered and the Igbos were mocked that they put all their eggs in one basket.

When He appointed Northern and Muslim service Chiefs and even broke the federal character principle, some section of the country said it was nothing serious, as he was only appointing the people he can trust.

It got to the point of sending security agents to mow down Ipob peaceful and unarmed protesters, yet Nigerians justified it. Nnamdi Kanu was arrested and detained. They called for proscription of the group and people were happy.

The same trend went on when over 700 Shiites on a procession were killed in Zaria, for the flimsy reason that they blocked the Chief of Army Staff. El Zakzaky the leader of the Shiites and the wife were incarcerated, and people justified it.

The homes of Judges and Justices were raided in Gestapo style, still, people said the all-knowing man was right.

Then came the indiscriminate arrest of the opposition politicians, and allowing the most corrupt APC members go scot-free and join the league of Saints, yet some people still justified it.

Then the indiscriminate killings of people by Fulani herdsmen in Benue, Enugu, Plateau, Nassarawa, Southern Kaduna, Zamfara, etc, yet the president treated it with kid gloves, and sometimes asked the victims to “accommodate their brothers”; feigned ignorance on where his IG of police went to and where he sent him, and even made light of the situation by joking that the head of police is lean, meaning he’s working.

The same cycle of things went on till the elections. Fake Buhari tactically removed a Southern Chief Justice of Nigeria, installed a Sharia CJN and took total control of the judiciary. They brazenly rigged the elections and were even making a joke of the PDP candidate that he was from Cameroon and wasn’t eligible to contest…
