The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is a man many, all over the world adore not just his teeming pro-Biafra followers. This adoration stems forth not just because of Kanu’s eloquence, and charismatic leadership but mostly for his precision of prediction or prophecy, little wonder many of his admirers in Biafra land and those scattered all over the world call him a prophet.

Anybody who has been following Kanu over the years since he officially, began pursuing the restoration of Biafra through the platform of IPOB, they would certainly, admit without hesitation that virtually, all the things Kanu has prophesied have come to pass barely within a short while of making the pronouncements.

The only thing he had prophesied that is yet to come to fruition is the restoration of Biafra. However, quite frankly, he is certain beyond every shred of doubt that the once sovereign state of Biafra would definitely be restored, and Biafrans will be free in their own land to genuinely, and passionately pursue their dreams, and aspirations unlike in Nigeria where the government hijacked system made things strictly tough.

Just like the way Elohim singled out Moses to lead the Israelites out of captivity in Egypt, obviously, Kanu was chosen by Chukwu Okike, to champion the emancipation of  Biafrans from the British contraption called Nigeria where merits are relegated to the refuse bin. Intellect, skills, and academic prowess are not rewarded instead fraud has become the order of the day, treasury looters are celebrated, and those who plunder the wealth of the country are given political appointments where they will continue their looting with reckless abandon while impoverishing the masses.

Those who disdain Kanu are only unscrupulous politicians both in Biafra land, and Nigeria. The message of liberation, IPOB indefatigable leader preaches hurts them to the bone marrow, if they had the power to eliminate him, they would have done so since for they had tried ceaselessly in the past but failed woefully, and the more they try, the more vocal, Kanu becomes with his prophecies.

The Southerners in Nigeria are witnessing the violence of the 4th deadliest terrorist organisation in the world, the Fulani herdsmen, and the Nigerian government does not seem to care about it. Some years earlier before the violence began, Kanu predicted in the United States, while attending a town hall meeting with Biafrans that, the “Fulani herdsmen, are coming to our lands to try to kill us. We have to stop them, we need funding for our own protection since the government will not protect us.”

Some ignorant folks in the meeting, kicked against the idea, and Kanu immediately laid the matter to rest. After a couple of months, these heartless herdsmen began their pillaging, and gruesome killings in some parts of Biafran land, IPOB tried with the limited resources at their disposition, and put up some good defense which deterred them from spreading farther into other communities and towns but IPOB, unfortunately, could not go thus far then the wailing began among Biafrans, families affected in the despicable act cried, and pleaded with Kanu for protection, and in his usual bluntness reminded them about the meeting he had with Biafrans in the diaspora, and their response.

Again, he has started calling for support to enable IPOB defend Biafra land, and further quicken the restoration of Biafra, it is only worthwhile, Biafrans both at home, and in the diaspora throw their weight behind it.

Another, very prominent one was when Kanu warned Biafrans serving the Nigerian government against the interest of Biafrans, and doing everything possibly to subjugate Biafra to flee from such act, else they would meet their waterloo. Kanu said, “serve the Zoo (Nigeria), and you’ll return home disgraced.” Shortly, after his prophecy, the APC led government, ousted  Justice Walter Onnoghen out of office without following the due process.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is truly ahead of his time, it would not be out of place to call him, a man of God, for he is genuinely one, and not many of the marauders in Nigeria masquerading as men of God.
