An Aide to the former Governor of Lagos State and and APC Presidential hopeful, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has opened up on the real reasons why his boss travelled to London, United Kingdom on Thursday.
The views expressed by the aide runs contrary to to the views held outside by Nigerians who believe that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is actually in the UK for medically related reasons.
Africa Daily News, New York reports that social media have been awashed with reports of Tinubu’s travel to London, with some saying he has gone to rest and others saying he visited his family.
Some people are even thinking that Tinubu might be sick after all and has gone for medical treatment abroad.

However, his spokesman Tunde Rahman has doused the tension on Friday, saying the Asiwaju travelled abroad for consultations over his presidential interest.
Rahman tweeted: ‘HE Asíwájú Tinubu is engaged in meetings and consultations over his presidential interest.
‘Some of these consultations are holding abroad. So if in The UK at present, this is why!’
He went on to reveal that the former governor of Lagos is expected back into the country next week.
Africa Daily News, New York recalls that the former Lagos governor returned to the country only in October after undergoing knee surgery abroad. While in London, he was seen many times receiving visitors who turned his London home as a pilgrimage ground of some sort.
This claims have no doubts raised concerns on his fitness for the job he is aspiring to.
