Nigeria is one of the third-world countries that relies a lot on external aid and charity to survive. People like Bill Gates invest a chunk of their wealth to fund researches to help combat diseases in Africa. Successive Nigerian governments have continued to regard churches as charitable organisations while exempting them from paying taxes yet to the watchful eyes of the media, wealthy pastors plunder their followers and spend their spoils on self-indulgent existence. if all these happen in a country with more poor people than the population of many countries, then something is wrong and that is a fact.
The Nigerian church, a product of the mental enslaving Organised Religion does not represent the poor. To be more succinct, Pentecostal pastors of the ‘prosperity-preaching’ class actively dissociate themselves from poverty and poor people. Hardly would you hear them talk about the poor state of education or healthcare system in Nigeria. Hardly would you see them stand up for human rights or lead protests against policies that punish the masses but reward thieves. Rather than speak truth to power they collude with corrupt politicians to defraud the masses and profit themselves. Religion is the opium of the masses – it thrives in impoverished societies because it peddles false hope. The gullible people in Nigeria really need to be informed that donating their life savings to pastors and churches will not immune them from illnesses, unemployment, road traffic accidents, and other tragedies, rather it will only make the pastors stupendously rich and support their ostentatious and affluent lifestyles. The heavy blow of Coronavirus death should be a lesson to their customers. Rather than command the virus to disappear for a return to normalcy, they quietly closed their churches as Government ordered lockdowns.

Religion cannot change the world. In fact, it is a source of most of the problems. There appears to be a correlation between religion, poverty, and corruption because the countries which top the corruption index are consistently those that have high religiosity and high poverty levels. There is a church on practically every Nigerian street yet she sits at the top of the list of the most corrupt countries in the world. Religion does not make people good – believers are guilty of every single sin that their holy books accuse non-believers of.
Humanity would surely have been better off had all the time and resources spent on spreading superstitions been invested in medical research and improving the conditions of human existence. Again, Superstitions cannot reform the world, nor can religion – because the latter is founded upon the former. Religion provides the perfect platform for unscrupulous men or women to capitalise on the fear peddled in scriptures to exploit billions of gullible people around the world.
One of such men who have mastered the art of capitalising on the gullibility of Nigerians is Pastor Lazurus Muoka of the General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Church. His case is particularly pathetic because he doesn’t even care about even the people running the business with him; many of his pastors have over the years accused him of neglect. While setting new targets and mountainous financial heights for them, he has continued to vindicate the truth which is that Organised Religion and its derivatives are all nothing but a very big scam.
One of such pastors identified as Pastor Emmanuel Ifeanyichukwu Enweremadu was sighted in a viral video that would move anyone to tears. You can hear him in the video where he was lamenting neglect and how he was totally abandoned by Lazarus Muoka and the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Church to suffer and die painfully in silence. Please someone tell Lazurus Muoka to go down to Imo State, in fact, he is from the same local government as Muoka, Orsu precisely. He should go there and heal this man if he has healing powers, if he doesn’t he should go and spend some of his ill-gotten wealth to ensure that this hapless and helpless man gets qualitative healthcare.
According to the man in question, he has been sick with a strange sickness for the past three years and six months which has left him completely paralysed. To even make matters worse, he even barely feeds as he has now been overtaken by abject poverty, in fact juxtaposing his condition with the affluence Muoka is swimming in would send shivers down the spine of anybody that still have humanity left in them.
We can’t allow him to continue to go through that pain. For this reason, we are appealing to the general public and good-spirited individuals to come to the aid of this man. He shouldn’t be allowed to suffer for an indoctrination he can barely explain. Below are his details:
