I had in the past written in defence of this rare Igbo man called Arthur. This agent of God had won my admiration compelling me to name my first son 22 years ago, Arthur. I have never and I am yet to see an Igbo man who selflessly dispensed and still dispenses kindness and mercy like Arthur Eze.

A man who dispenses kindness on impulse without expectation of any interest and or self idolation. He does not help because he wants to use your inabillity, disability or want  to cury favour or political gains. A highly and very detraiblised Nigerian. I kept wondering about this until I read of his orientation from this narrative while growing up as a child. Little did I know that his father was among the decent politician of the good old patriotic days who also had the same political influence like his son Arthur today in Nigeria. In our Owerri dialect it is called ” ÒKÙKÙ NMIRI AGHA NGA ÒKU”.

God created this human being as his  agent on earth. He imbibed him with the heart of a child, the spirit of charity, the mind to speak truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. He further gave him the heart of praise and worship, the spirit of songs and dance. Today he enjoys the peace of mind that surpasses all understanding. Apart from his honest riches, his good health coupled with the riches has made him a wealthy man. In Nigeria of today there’s hardly more than ten Nigerians in the mould of Arthur.  Arthur is with God and God has blessed him without measures.

On the Igbo quest for the presidency of Nigeria,  only a wealthy,  compassionate and detraiblised Nigeria in the mould of Arthur Eze can pass the trust, credibility, patriotic, and acceptance test by the core North, the South South, the South West and perhaps the South East. I guess many people including Arthur himself has not given this revelation a thought. I see another Abiola’s presidential victory similarity in Arthur. A similarity that is doable if there is an agreement and endorsement by the core North who needs an Igbo man that can be trusted. If it is God’s will that an Igbo man will govern Nigeria in our lifetime, Arthur is the agent and gamble because His Grace has been sufficient for him and he has used this grace for charity, philanthropy, kindness and nation building.  Let God’s will be done on Earth 🙏.

Sincerely yours,
