Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani took to his twitter page on Sunday to share his opinion on why the Northern part of Nigeria is not open to restructuring.
Among the reasons he listed were the fear of Oil wealth monopoly to the southeastern part of Nigeria and the loss of political patronage.
Four obstacles to restructuring;
The North See it as a South West Agenda.
The fear that itβs only about control of oil resources.
The fear of loss of political patronage,territory & economic privileges.
Opportunism & lack of political will & courage by d Past & present Govts.
