Spain has reported Friday an explosion in coronavirus cases with 6,740 confirmed in the last 24 hours.
The figure is the largest for nearly three weeks and sent the national total to 219,764.
The last time Spain recorded such huge daily number was on 4 April.
Then it reported 7,026 cases.

Reports said Fridayβs number was partly explained by the growing use of antibody tests, which have added nearly 17,000 people to the total since they were introduced.
However, there was a silver lining for the country.
The daily death toll fell to 367, the lowest since March 21.
The national total of deaths is now 22,524, second to U.S, with 50,243 deaths.
