Propaganda is a gimmick, a misleading information, very biased and often times quite unscrupulous in nature to achieve or propagate a certain political agenda.

It is often used by marauders and profiteers to sway opinion so that they will continue to rip off their unsuspecting targets.

Using Propaganda for any purpose is the height of foolery because sooner or later people that it is being used on to achieve a purpose will defintely realise the truth and come to see the deception and falsehood.

This realisation often ridicules the people involved in it and renders them valueless among the people.

Propaganda both in business or civil war doesn’t bring any lasting solution even if the perpetrators win with it, in subsequent time, the truth will emerge and the propagandists will be disgraced and that’s why I don’t use or favour propaganda in my writings or endorsement for anything. If it’s not based on the truth, count me out!

The case of APC and former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is a good example for anyone especially in Nigeria to learn from.

APC hired Mr. David Axelrod, Former United States President Barrack Obama’s chief campaign strategist to create and deliver a propaganda that made Buhari and Osinbajo appear as saints as well as messiahs to Nigerians including the ones in the diaspora.

This splendid campaign from Axelrod eventually delivered Buhari/Osinbajo ticket in 2015 and made Nigerians feel that they had come to salvage the dilapidating condition of Nigeria.

However, six months after in their first term, Nigerians saw through the falsehood and propaganda that were peddled by Axelrod which cunningly convinced Nigerians to vote for them.

Today, virtually every Nigerian among the masses is cursing vehemently the Buhari/Osinbajo government with every breath in them for untold hardships that their maladministration have brought thus far to Nigeria.

For those who are still using propaganda via the mainstream to preach or pursue any agitation, just realise that truth will always prevail and your disgrace will be inevitable. It’s only a matter of time.
