Speaker Nancy Pelosi is speaking at her weekly press conference which commenced Thursday morning, the day after the Senate voted to acquitΒ President Trump on two articles of impeachment.
Pelosi who has an ax to grind with President Donald hosted the speech to clarify her political stand and her views on the Senate’s acquittal of Donald Trump.

Her feud with Donald Trump became more evident during the State of the Union on Tuesday, when the president spurned a handshake offer from Pelosi, and the speaker conspicuously ripped upΒ her copy of the address after Mr. Trump concluded his remarks.
Pelosi slammed Mr. Trump’s speech, saying the president was “using the Congress of the United States as the backdrop of a reality show.”
