CHIEF FIBERISIMA and his WIFE are in the LIVING ROOM having a cheerful DISCUSSION as they keenly see the MOVIE on the DIGITAL SATELITE TELEVISION and the FORMER receives an INTERNATIONAL CALL.
CHIEF FIBERISIMA
Oh! How’re you my son? That’s good… So you’re in Las Vegas now with your wife? I’m sure you both are enjoying your honey moon… I also hope that as you’re returning home, your wife is also returning with something great in her tummy.

Well… that’s the joy and blessing of marriage… Mummy is fine… you know women now… she’s busy enjoying my wealth… that’s the way God made them, to enjoy our hard earned wealth

CHIEF FIBERISIMA
Sure! He says he’s currently in the States with his wife for honey moon.
MRS. FIBERISIMA
That’s nice, I’m happy for them.
CHIEF FIBERISIMA
I wish your son will happily settle down like that but no, he wouldn’t, he’s only interested in sleeping with every woman he sees; I’m beginning to think that they cast a spell on him that’s why he’s behaving that way.
MRS. FIBERISIMA
Chief, he’s equally your son and our duty as his parents is to pray for him so that God will change him, it’s never too late for him.
CHIEF FIBERISIMA
I doubt if he will ever change.
MRS FIBERISIMA
Ah-ah chief! It’s your son; you’re talking about this way.
CHIEF FIBERISIMA
A son that always disobeys his parents is not worthy to be called a son indeed.
MRS. FIBERISIMA
At least, he has done well for himself; he’s a successful business man now.
CHIEF FIBERISIMA
Woman, you don’t seem to get it, financial success is not really a yard stick to measure a successful life.
MRS. FIBERISIMA
So, what’s a successful life then?
CHIEF FIBERISIMA
It’s one that is recognized and wholly accepted by God, Himself not man because the standards of man will always crumble some day but God’s own never fails.
MRS. FIBERISIMA.
That’s the more reason we should often pray for him so that heaven doesn’t elude him.
CHIEF FIBERISIMA

87. INT.NGOZI’S RES.NIGHT.
NGOZI sits in her LIVING ROOM, browsing through a FASHION MAGAZINE and a knock comes on the DOOR; she goes to open it and finds her good FRIEND there, Elated, she welcomes her .
NGOZI
Wow! I can’t believe this! Rita, you eventually came?
RITA
I told you I was coming.
NGOZI
Honestly, I thought you’re joking.
RITA
Well, I’m here now.
NGOZI
Please, please come in and sit down; what do I offer you?
RITA
Never mind, I’m all right; where’s mama?
NGOZI
My dear, she went to church for choir practice, she will soon be back.
RITA
Mama! Always very active with things of the Lord even at her age, that’s nice.
NGOZI
My sister, that’s the best oo! What can we do without God?
RITA
Nothing! Absolutely nothing, my dear.
NGOZI
That reminds me, did you actually invite Ray to church or he came on his own?
RITA
You know Ray?
NGOZI
Very well, he’s Ken’s very good friend.
RITA
Is that so?
NGOZI
Yea.
RITA
Well, you know guys now, he met me and was all over me; insisted to take me out for dinner on Saturday but I refused and offered to take him out instead.
NGOZI
Did he oblige you?
RITA
He was so happy but when I told him I was taking him to a vigil in church, you needed to see the expression on his face. Gosh! He felt like crying but he had no choice, he desperately wanted me so I dragged him to church.
NGOZI
My sister, you’ve done well, these guys really need God but they wouldn’t admit it. I have been trying ceaselessly to see if Ken could be joining me to church at least on Sundays but he wouldn’t, all he’s interested in is his wayward life.
RITA
I pray God delivers him, he’s such a nice guy, he has a good heart.
NGOZI
I pray too, my dear.
RITA
What about Ray, how’s his character?
NGOZI
Just like Ken, they’re birds of the same feather; all we need to do is keep praying to God to change them because as a Christian, it will only be a disaster for you if you end up marrying an unbeliever.
RITA
You’re right, my dear.
NGOZI
And again, one shouldn’t make the mistake of giving it to them in the name of love, if you do your dignity as a woman is gone.
RITA
I believe you my sister, I wish I were still a virgin like you.
NGOZI
Don’t feel bad my dear, you’re a virgin now because you’re ‘born again’ you no longer live in sin so your past has been erased by the blood of our Lord JESUS CHRIST.
RITA
Thank you so much my sister for always encouraging me.
NGOZI
That’s how it should be. We should always encourage each other, that’s what the Bible tells us to do.
