From praying for God’s blessings on his new political party known as ‘PD-APC’,  to facing angry youths who pelted him with stones, down to losing an important Federal House of Representative member to death shortly after the charade – it was a Tuesday to forget for the heroine-loving former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu and his supporters as he flagged off his campaign at the ancient city of Jos, Plateau State.

Tinubu had settled for Jos as the venue for the flag-off of his Presidential campaign ostensibly to pass a message. Going by his calculations, his kinsmen, Chief MKO Abiola and Chief Olusegun Obasanjo had launched their Presidential bids from the Jos Stadium and ended up winning elections resoundingly as Nigerian Presidents. For Tinubu, the story was way different in the end. Rather than receiving blessings from the people of the state, he received curses from people who have become so disenchanted with how terrible Tinubu’s party – the APC had mismanaged Nigeria over the last seven years.

The special purpose Vehicle otherwise known as the All Progressives Congress (APC) which was formed with the sole aim of grabbing power and not helping to solve any of Nigerians problems as the party claims, has been making serious efforts to perform the same magic of deceiving Nigerians again by enthroning another inept gerontocrat in Tinubu.

So far, the task has proven to be quite herculean as many Nigerians have been subjected to the worst ill-treatment they could ever imagine in their lives.

Under the APC, their lives have lost value as terrorists, criminals and non-state actors maim them without remorse. The living standards are now comatose in the face of the APC’s docility and complete cluelessness on the economy; their future is now completely blurred and there seems to be no end in sight.

Despite their scorecard that’s nothing short of an eyesore, the party is hell-bent on retaining power through a senile-Tinubu who, by every indication, does not have what it takes to clean up the stinking mess they have managed to create.

In Jos, Tinubu showed Nigerians once again, why his handlers within the APC cult have continued to shield him away from the prying eyes of the public and from media scrutiny.

Like a baby without napkins, Tinubu could not even wait for minutes after taking the microphone to deliver his first gaffe of the afternoon. His first punch was to rechristen his host and the DG of his campaign by changing his name from Simon Lalong to SOLOMON LALONG. The visibly embarrassed Lalong could only watch as his visitor went on to prove to his rented crowd that he wasn’t in charge of his mind.

Soon enough, the thoroughly confused Tinubu switched into his prayer warrior mode and one of his most interesting prayer points was ‘GOD BLESS PD…APC’. Party stalwarts who were with him on the podium could not help but bow their heads in shame. The former Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomole had to hide his shame by laughing at him cynically throughout the entire moment of disgrace. Tinubu simply utilised every available second availed to him during the campaign flag-off to remove every doubt about the state of his health and ultimately his mind. Tinubu simply showed Nigerians that his dementia, cognitive impairment, and Parkinson’s disease were not getting any better.

It was only a matter of time before APC members who attended the rally got fed up with the whole show of shame and began venting their frustration. They visibly got tired of being lied to without remorse under the scorching sun. The sight of the joke of a man being packaged for them forced them to throw caution to the wind and began to throw objects freely into the sky which was already dusty. A desperate party stalwart got into the fray and repeatedly started shouting in Hausa; ‘Ku daina. Ku daina. A yi hakuri. Jama’a mun zo harkan siyasa ne. Jama’a muke nema’ which when loosely translated means ‘Please security forces I beg you to stop beating these people. Stop it, stop it.’ If the APC and Tinubu had any iota of shame, they will have announced a suspension of their campaigns to reflect on the meal they were served by the angry crowd in Jos.

Tinubu has a good history of goofing in public. In July this year, while speaking in an interview, Tinubu had before the whole world referred to APC as ‘Action Congress’ – a party that stopped existing a decade ago. In October this year, the former Lagos State Governor caused a stir online when he declared that Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has a vision of turning ‘rotten situation to a bad one.’ The list is endless. It is almost impossible for Tinubu to speak without putting those that handed him the microphone to shame.

Just a few days ago, it was another shameful outing for Tinubu in Owerri when he momentarily moved away from the speaking languages Nigerians understand to new languages. While attempting to rain praises on Governor Lalong of Plateau State on his leadership of the APC presidential campaign council, Tinubu said; ‘You see the innovation. If we lend ourselves to innovation, we can create wonders. Here is a successful, again, a townhall different from balabloo bloo blu bulaba.’ That was such a gory sight.

Today, Tinubu and his handlers are throwing every available arsenal at their disposal into the ring to impose themselves on Nigerians. They have not spared any social, political, or financial resources and they seem very determined to actualise it at all costs. But that’s not the issue, the issue is that the last thing anyone with a conscience will wish for Nigeria at this point in her history is a drugged and drunken Presidency led by Tinubu. Subjecting Nigeria to that fate after eight years of the absent, dementia-plagued presidency will bury her.

As many Nigerians already know, Tinubu is an unremittingly drugged man who is often under the influence of white substances. In his hay days, he was an addict who never cared to know that the implications of his actions back then were going to attack him later in life.

Nearly three decades ago, the Lagos ‘landlord’ was named as an accomplice to a criminal gang who were involved in white heroin trafficking and money laundering, and he had to forfeit nearly half a million dollars to the U.S. Treasury Department for that reason. Tinubu is a man whose past is too sordid to be reviewed and whose present is too begrimed to be emulated. He reflects everything that is wrong with Nigeria that has kept her on her knees.

As he displayed in Jos, Tinubu is an octogenarian who is incapable of keeping and maintaining a coherent thought process or putting forward a basic presence of mind over a sustained period. Tinubu is an alcoholic disaster that is packaged by the best and brightest strategists on the continent. To further spice it up, he has wonderful PR professionals and speech writers on his payroll who hide his deficiencies away from Nigerians whom they have concluded are very gullible.

In 2023, Nigerians must reject Tinubu and his likes whose ambition only revolves around his desire to be named ‘President of Nigeria’ for egoistical reasons. Tinubu has nothing to offer himself let alone over 200 million people who are currently facing the worst time of their lives.

In conclusion, Nigerians must prepare their minds for more skits from the stables of Tinubu the self-styled ‘Jagaban’. Jos was only the 1st of 36 States, and it was only used to test the microphone. It is only going to be a matter of time before he takes the gloves off and fully bares his absence of mind, senility, and obvious emptiness for the whole world to see.

In the end, they must be ready to resist the walking psychedelic calamity and restrict his movement to his Bourdillon mansion where he finds solace. Nigeria is already sick, and healing her will require a healthy man, not a vegetable.
