Bola Tinubu who is the All Progressives Congress (APC), presidential candidate, has made another open promise to make sure that he ends all forms of insecurity in Nigeria.

Tinubu had also vowed to make sure that he ensures all the full exploration of the oil reserves in the Benue trough and also Chad basin for the development of the North and the country.

He had made this statement on Monday during a meeting which he had held with some Northern groups in Kaduna and the APC flagbearer had also revealed that there was abundant oil and gas in the Benue Trough, Chad Basin, and other prospective locations in the North.

Tinubu had also pledged to complete the ongoing Abuja-Kaduna-Kano and the trans-Saharan gas pipeline project.

“I acknowledge the primacy of security as the number one function of government”, NAN quoted him saying.

“My administration will give it all the necessary attention and consolidate on the recent investments.”

Tinubu said as governor, he had also adopted so many initiatives, especially the Security Trust Fund, to address many needs of the security forces.

In another report, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who is the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has paid a political visit to the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Bamalli, after he had attended the seventh edition of the Kaduna Investment Forum.

Tinubu, who had been accompanied by his host, Gov. Nasir el-Rufai, and some other APC stalwarts, had been in the palace to seek royal blessing and pay homage to the emir.

Tinubu had also arrived at the palacefor a few hours after the departure of the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to Kaduna for his campaign and engagement with the Arewa Joint Committee.

Earlier, host Gov. Nasir el-Rufai had noted that even though it was the first time the APC presidential flagbearer visited the first-class traditional ruler, it would be the beginning of many future visits to the palace.
