Are you a young person who understands the nitty-gritty of social media workings? Can you put your thoughts and ideas into writing? If you answered ‘Yes’ to these questions, then keep reading to find out how you can sharpen your skill set and earn some money through this challenge.
It is without gainsaying that many young people and tech-savvy adults love social media, and that’s why the number of social media users around the world has consistently remained on a geometric rise.
Many individuals have built their lives around social media for several reasons ranging from business to interpersonal relationships, the desire for popularity, showbiz, and many more. With the current realities, it is safe to say that social media will continue to be in today’s world. But the question is: how many people are interested in studying, understanding, and using social media appropriately for the best results?
The Prof. Mark-Anthony Nze Social Media Challenge was born out of the desire to empower individuals who are passionate about the technicalities around social media growth and brand visibility.
Over the years, the initiator of the challenge (Prof. Nze) has never missed an opportunity to spur people to add value in whatever they do and wherever they find themselves, believing that every human has the potential for greatness. Instituting a social media challenge is another avenue for him to spur young persons to convert their social media skills into a feasibility study and get a financial reward if they emerge winners.
This social media challenge is put together not just to financially reward diligent social media users but also to stimulate intellectual inputs around how social media platforms can contribute their quota in making the world a better place through more informed engagements and value creation.
Interested individuals are expected to write a comprehensive feasibility analysis of not less than 2,000 word-count on the strategy to creatively promote a brand on Twitter and Instagram. The organisers settled for those two social media platforms for several reasons, including their general set-up and algorithm styles.
Participants are expected to engage in in-depth research and come up with very creative strategies on how to position a brand on those two platforms. Again, to ensure that participants have fully formed ideas of the strategies they are marketing, there will be a session in the contest where participants will be expected to show in practical ways how to drive those ideas.
Prof. Nze has approved a total sum of N150,000 for the winners. The winner of the challenge will be smiling out of the year with the sum of N100,000 while the runner-up will become N50,000 richer by the end of the year, just for doing something they love to do.
So what are you waiting for? The deadline for submission is November 30th 2022. If you think you understand social media enough and have what it takes to participate in this contest, get your writing materials ready and start converting those ideas to texts and strategies.
It is important to note that no form of plagiarism will be condoned. Plagiarism in any form will lead to an outright disqualification. All entries should be sent to [email protected].
