A carpenter named Ademola Lawrence was killed when the wall of a crumbling classroom at the Local Authority Primary School, established 67 years ago in the Okitipupa neighbourhood of Ondo state.

According to the source, the victim was asked to assist in demolishing the crumbling 1955-built old school building.
According to reports, the school administration obtained permission to demolish the outdated building due to the danger it presented to the students.

The victim’s fall through the school wall was confirmed by Funmi Odunlami, the police image maker.
Odunlami claimed that the victim had a contract to assist with school renovations.
