Nigerian Youths Will Work With Tinubu’s Govt - Yahaya Bello

The Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello has come out to reiterate his earlier statement that the Nigerian youths will be determining the intricacies of how the government of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who is candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC would be run if he is elected president in 2023. 

Governor Bello who has just been appointed as the National Youth Coordinator for the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council had made this revealations today.

According to Tinubu, Bello had also deserved the appointment considering his impressive political achievements and the exemplary leadership he has demonstrated as governor of his state and as a party member.

He said, “By the special grace of God, Nigerian youths will determine and run the affairs and government of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinnubu when he is sworn in.

“He will provide the need, he will provide the expertise, he will provide the experience for all Nigerian youths to achieve our full potential,” he said.

Bello said he has a formidable connection with the Nigerian youths, adding that his connection with the youths has continued to increase.

He said, “Remember just a few months back. I mobilize, I sensitize, I educate Nigerian youths and younger generations and older ones to join our party. Already, we have the numbers in our party.”

The Kogi state governor expressed confidence that in the next election, the APC will sweep the votes in favour of Tinubu.

In a related development, ahead of next year’s general election, Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has been announced as the National Youth Coordinator of the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council.

The appointment was conveyed in a letter personally addressed to Governor Bello and signed by the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

Tinubu, in the letter, which was dated August 8, 2022, stressed that Bello, who was an aspirant in the party’s presidential primary, deserved the appointment owing to his impressive political achievements and the exemplary leadership he had demonstrated as governor of his state and as a party member.

He added that he was confident that the governor would do his best in the new responsibility given him to ensure the party run an effective and message-driven campaign that would lead to its victory in the 2023 presidential election.
