Documentation refers to the material that provides official information or evidence that serves as a record Or any communicable material that is used to describe, explain or instruct regarding some attributes of an object, system or procedure.
When we refer to documentation, we are describing the process of capturing evidence both of the learning progress and the impact we are making. As such, documentation plays an important role in assessing our learning as an ongoing process of formative assessment, growth and development.
When we refer to documentation, it goes beyond putting pen to paper, it refers to the deliberate attempt by a person to leave positive impression in the lives of others.
