2023: Atiku, Peter Obi, Tinubu’s Running Mate, Shettima Finally Meet

Two of the candidates who are currently running for the 2023 Nigerian presidential election on Monday have met in Lagos State. They include the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi who had met at the Eko Hotel in Lagos.

Both presidential candidates will be speaking at the Nigerian Bar Conference’s 62nd annual general conference.

Also in attendance were the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential running mate, Kassim Shettima; and Chimamanda Adichie.

More reports reaching Africa Daily News, New York is that the meeting earlier scheduled to bring about reconciliation between the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and Mr. Nyemsom Wike, the rivers state governor which held yesterday did not reach any key conclusions.

The committee which included members from Atiku and Wike’s camp had their meeting at the Government House, Port Harcourt.
Mr. Kelvin Ebiri, Wike’s media aide disclosed this in a message he made available to journalists.

Members from Atiku’s camp included Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri; Hon. Adamu Waziri and Hon. Eyitayo Jegede.

While representatives for Governor Nyemso Wike’s camp included former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Bello Adoki; Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State; former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke; former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko and former Governor of Gombe State, Dr. Ibrahim Dankwambo.
