Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has revealed that certain individuals made fun of him during his darkest moments.
The 80-year-old cleric claimed during the church’s 70th Annual Convention that while he was dealing with so many inquiries regarding the passing of his son, other persons were busy making fun of him.
‘Some of you have heard this before: when I was in the saddest period of my life, with so many questions and I know that even in my deep sorrow some people were still laughing at me, I got a text from one of my daughters.’ — the cleric said.
‘All she said was: ‘Daddy, let God carry you’. And that put an end to any problem; it ended my sorrows. It renewed my faith.’
From Monday, August 8 to Sunday, August 14, 2022, a program with the theme “Perfect Jubilee” would be presented.
The 80-year-old preacher emphasized God supports His children who render themselves carry-able during his talk on the topic of “Born Free” on the second day of the event.
After his 42-year-old son Dare died in May 2021, Adeboye claimed that God had been with him during the most difficult time of his life.
On May 4, 2021, Dare, Adeboye’s third child and a resident of Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where his family was based, passed away. Adeboye was 80 years old. Prior to his death, the departed, who was wedded to Temiloluwa, served as the assistant pastor in charge of Region (Youth) 35 and was the father of three daughters.

Adeboye had recently explained that there is a big difference between demons in Nigeria and London while reiterating that one is literate and the others are not.

He shad clarified that the demons in Nigeria are illiterate and are easily recognisable, those abroad were literate and not easily recognisable.
