Ahead of the 2023 general elections, Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has asserted that not even his corpse will be found in the camp of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP).

El-Rufai made this assertion while putting out his response to a comment by the spokesperson to PDP presidential candidate, Daniel Bwala,

Recall that Bwala, who was an aide of the current Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, had last month dumped the position and the All Progressives Congress (APC) over the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s choice of a fellow Muslim, former Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima as running mate.
