As controversies mounting the recent unveiling of the APC Vice Presidential candidate, one of the ‘Ordained Bishops’ who had been billed to attend the unveiling of Kashim Shettima as the running mate to Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s All Progressive Congress (APC) Muslim-Muslim Presidential ticket has been unmasked after some minor investigations.

The APC/ Tinubu/Shetima Ordained “Bishop” has been identified as Ambassador Prince Ugokwe who had made some unconfirmed claims to be the Founder, President and the General Overseer (GO) of Muslim-Christian Foundation Church.

Ambassador Ugokwe is also the General Overseer of the YOKE Breaker’s Prophetic Ministry-YBP aka Solution Prayer City, Dutse Abuja.

He also has a Social Media Page – Rev Amb Ugo Ugokwe for APC Southeast Youth Leader, through which he runs his political movement and consultancy. Ambassador Ugokwe hails from Akwaihedi, Nnewi South Local Government Area (L.G.A) of Anambra State.

In another report, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has also disassociated itself from Wednesday’s unveiling of Kashim Shettima as the vice-presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

National Public Relations Officer of CAN, Mr. Bayo Adedeji, made this known in a short message which was obtained by Africa Today News, New York after images of men said to be ‘pastors and bishops’ went viral on social media.

‘Let them name the CAN officials that attended the programme and their offices,’ he said. ‘If they could use 2017 photos to claim that some bishops visited Senator Shettima and lied that Pastor E. A. Adeboye had endorsed them, they could do anything.

‘Our position on Muslim-Muslim ticket is irreversible. Anybody can claim to be anything, but one thing is clear, CAN was not part of the unveiling programme of Shettima.’
