Olawuyi made this known on Sunday while addressing journalists on the sideline of the community’s 25th anniversary celebration in Osogbo on Sunday. Olawuyi noted that the court had been able to settle a lot of cases without anybody taking offence or resulting into killing or attacking other people.

“We have been able to settle a lot of issues through the Sharia court, even boundary issues, we have settled.

“Government should recognise the Sharia court as part of the judiciary system in Osun State like what happens in Kwara and other States. We are one Nigeria. We should come together to work as one indivisible entity,” he said.

In another report, Adegboyega Oyetola who is the Osun State Governor has made a full assurance of the State’s electorate that there will be sustained and adequate security for everyone before, during and after the gubernatorial election procedures.

The Osun State Governor had  made the statement of the assurance on Wednesday when his re-election campaign train visited Ibokun, Obokun Local Government Area of the State.

In his words, “We have been working on adequate security for this election and we will ensure that every life and property are secured before, during and after the election.

“Go out en-mass and vote and make sure you watch your votes. I believe with this support, we have emerged victorious.”
