Mavin Record boss, Don Jazzy has hailed Grammy award-winning Burna Boy, admitting he’s truly the ‘African giant’

This is after the singer sold out the much anticipated ‘One Night in Space’ concert on Thursday.

Don Jazzy on Twitter wrote: “Oluwa Burna na Giant you be true true ooo. Congrats on every every.

“I tap from your blessing for myself and everybody that wishes you well. Keep making us proud bro.”

Burna Boy is the first Nigerian to sell out Madison Square Garden, New York.

This is a massive win for Burna Boy who had sold out the O2 Arena Paris’ Accor Arena, Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome.

This ‘One Night In Space’ concert follows Burna Boy’s recently sold-out debut at LA’s The Hollywood Bowl, the Governor’s Ball and 2021 Global Citizen Festival.

Africa Daily News, New York reports that the historic concert which was held on Thursday night with the caption ‘One Night In Space’, has actually made Burna Boy the first Nigerian artiste to hold a successful performance at the famous Madison Square Garden which has a seating capacity of at least 20, 000 seats.

The music fans were in high spirits as the majority were dancing and singing with the artist.

The supervisor of Guest Services at Madison Square Garden, Mr Ken Gunser told newsmen that the atmosphere of the performance was dazzling and electrifying.

‘The people here seem to be happy, and they are in a good mood,’ the supervisor said.

He went further to add that the show attracted no fewer than 31,000 persons while a further 81,000 viewers were reported to have followed his performance online.

Burna Boy fans, both white and blacks, expressed delight about the stage  performance of the artiste and praised his exceptional talent.

One of his fans said that one of the reasons he liked Burna Boy is his ability to keep his  audience.
