The cows were seized after Amotekun’s operatives responded to farmers’  distress signals.

Farmers from Akure’s Oke Aro area reported that the cows had nibbled on their crops and ruined them.

In response to corps officers enforcing the law, soldiers from the Artillery Brigade rushed into the area and prevented the removal of the cows.

The soldiers affirmed that the cows were the property of their officers, according to reports.

Witnesses confirmed that the military apprehended two of the operators after they engaged in a fisticuff and fired shots.

Africa Daily News, New York also found out that  Amotekun has been serving dutifully the interest of the people of Ondo State while helping to maintain law and order in the state.

Investigations by the appropriate authority are currently going on to further enquire the cause of the conflict, and possible resolution.
