Nigerian music superstar, Davido has once again got the internet buzzing after he announced that he will give out ₦400 million to business owners.

The singer, in an announcement made via his verified Twitter account which was sighted by Africa Daily News, New York on Wednesday, revealed that the money will be distributed on Friday.

The money will be shared by giving ₦20m to 20 people.

It is important to note that to be eligible, all you need to do is to post your business ideas in Davido’s comment section on Twitter.

Africa Daily News, New York reports that Davido’s announcement was coming just 11 days after his sold-out concert at the 02 Arena in London.

According to a number of authentic reports, the singer made over ₦1.352bn in gross earnings from his concert.

Davido’s ticket was sold under three different price categories of £41.25, £144.41, and £178.4.

Africa Daily News, New York reports that based on these prices, it, therefore, means that the average price that a ticket was sold was £121.36.

Using the official exchange rate of the Central Bank of Nigeria, it, therefore, means that a ticket was sold for an average of N67,616.2.

Africa Daily News, New York that earlier in the year, Wema Bank had officially announced the signing of popular music star as Brand Ambassador for its digital bank, ALAT By Wema after he used the bank’s account to raise money from his friends in celebration of his birthday.

The multiple award-winning artiste had raised ₦200 million when he posted his ALAT account before his 29th birthday and asked industry friends to donate. Subsequently, he personally contributed ₦50 million and announced plans to donate all funds raised to orphanages across the country.
