President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday played host to National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu in Aso Rock.
Africa Daily News, New York gathered that both men held a closed-door meeting.
Tinubu ton newsmen at the end of the meeting, the former governor of Lagos stated that he was at the presidential villa to thank the president for visiting him in London where he sought medical treatment.

‘I came to thank President Muhammadu Buhari for visiting me in London when I had a knee surgery. He demonstrated empathy. He is an exceptional leader,’ he said.
Africa Daily News, New York had some time in August reported how Buhari visited Tinubu in London following he later’s surgery.
Many analysts believe the meeting cannot be unconnected to 2023 permutations which many believe Tinubu is interested in vying for.
Tinubu himself is yet to openly declare his intentions but his foot soldiers are already taking the message all over the country.
