Abortion is when a pregnancy is ended so that it doesn’t result in the birth of a child. Sometimes it is called ‘termination of pregnancy’. There are two types of abortion treatment, ‘Medical’ and ‘Surgical’ abortion;

1. Medical abortion: The abortion pill,some women feel that a medical abortion is a more natural process. There are two types of medical Abortion. Abortion pill (also known as early medical abortion) up to 10 weeks. Abortion pill from 10 weeks up to 24 weeks.

2. Surgical abortion. Surgical abortion involves a quick minor operation.

THE CONSEQUENCES OF ABORTING IN IGBO SPIRITUALITY

Traditional Igbo religion includes belief in a creator god (Chukwu or Chi na Eke), an earth goddess (Ala), and numerous other deities and spirits as well as a belief in ancestors who protect their living descendants. Revelation of the will of the deities is sought by divination and oracles. Many Igbo are now Christians, some practicing a syncretic version of Christianity intermingled with indigenous beliefs. This means Igbo spirituality is a mixture. Notwithstanding, the core Igbo spirituality lies in Ọdịnanị. Which forbids Nsọ Ani, Aluu, Taboo and abomination of any kind.

It is Nsọ Ani for any Igbo woman to abort a child. The 16 commandment of Ọdịnanị is against Alu. It’s attendant consequences is spiritual in the sense that such person loses her essence and glory in life without being spiritually aware of it. Westernization taught our women that abortion is good for removal of unwanted pregnancy. The removal of unwanted pregnancy is abortion. That is deliberately committed by an unmarried or married Igbo woman who is not in any type of medical or health danger! This is bad and majority of African assimilated this atrocious act from Western culture.

Many parents are nonchalantly, overlooking this grievous crime that is enormous to tie down their female children’s destinies either from getting married, lateness in marriage, married yet unable to conceive because they have committed Nsọ Ani and offended Akwali Ọmụmụ the goddess of Fertility, wealth and goodness in Igbo land. Ignorance of the grave consequences of committing abortion has blocked lots of destinies and rendered progressive women, unprogressive and unproductive in their life endeavors.

These women who have never taken time to check what has gone wrong in their lives needs to spiritually consult to correct the imbalances and conduct proper spiritual cleansing to restore back their destiny sold on the altar of abortion.

Men who sponsor abortions for their female accomplices are also guilty. Therefore they partake in karmic repercussions for aiding and abetting the killing of an innocent child. They have desecrated Aja-ani, Ndị Ichie, Akwali Ọmụmụ, Ndị Mmiri, Ndị Otu Ogbanje, Alusi, Agwụ among others.

The price to pay is severe especially when you are called to serve as a Dibịa, Ezenwoke, Adaezenwanyi, Eze mmụọ, Prophet, Pastor, Prophetess, Evangelist and unknowingly, commit such heinous act! Their spirit guides will turn their backs against these offenders. If you are guilty of committing abortion, both man and woman involved should look for a deeply rooted Dibịa Aja-ani for ỊKỌCHI ỌṄỤṄỤ rituals and sacrifice to be performed in order to cleanse and appease mother earth and the whole spiritual entities concerned.

Chi is highly offended and departure of ones Chi from their lives is catastrophic. The person will become empty, a shadow of their former self. Even if you are not chosen to serve, abortion is evil. This is why it pays to be spiritually inclined. Be awake and listen to what your spirit being says to you. Be sure you live a morally upright life while being conscious of offending CHUKWU, Ndị Mmụọ, Ndị Ichie, Alusi, fellow humans among others. These spirits work in unison. When you offend one, you have offended others.

Desist from committing abortion and stay pure to protect yourself from calamity in life. It therefore becomes necessary to abstain from sex. If one cannot, then get married and avoid such temptation of having sex without being prepared for any implication and unwanted pregnancy. If inevitably, it results to pregnancy, please do not abort but give birth to your child.
