In a recent chat with Africa Daily News, New York, he made it known that the film adaptation of his book would be as wonderful as the novel itself with better twists and character depictions as the twisting sagas and heart-throbbing scenarios are thrown into life thanks to the wonderful actors put together by the director.

‘Gang of Looters was a work conceived out of a sheer will to show the world what comes out of a social norm that accommodates corruption and I am happy that the film adaptation still tows that same path.’

‘As the executive producer, I can as well assure viewers who are anticipating the film that it would be as entertaining and mind opening as the book itself with better depictions and more spice, thanks to the work of the director, the cast and other individuals who contributed to the success of this wonderful film.’

The film adaptation of Gang of Looters still follows the original story of the book where an African country, very rich in oil is being ruled and plundered by a mafia-like group who pull all the strings in the country. Kuala Bodega one of the last good Governors of Endassa is trying to make a stand to redeem the image of his State and get the country out of the strongholds of Chief Timbabu who is a very formidable foe and antagonist. He has ears everywhere and his minions are as ruthless as he is, always willing to carry out their master’s bidding with no question asked.

The film is a production of Scholastic Art Creations and directed by the creative fingers and literary genius touch of the award-winning director, Omoba James Oyebanji. The film stars popular actors such as khing Bassey, Adeola Awodein, Emmanuel Sokari and Telma Okhaz.
