His arrest came barely few weeks after he was declared wanted by the Department of State Security Services, DSS.

Although the Federal Government has been silent on Igboho’s arrest, there are reports of intense efforts to extradite him.

Africa Daily News, New York gathered that sympathizers and supporters turned up at the Cour De’appal De Cotonou to witness the arraignment of the self-acclaimed activist.

The presiding judge, however, adjourned sitings to Friday for further hearing.
