Nigeria remains home to one of the most dreaded terrorist organisations globally known as Jama’atu Ahlissunnah Lidda’awati wal Jihad (People Committed to the Propagation of the Prophet’s Teachings and Jihad), also known as Boko Haram. Defeating terror groups or insurgents is never easy but it is even worse when you have a terror loving personality like President Muhammadu Buhari at the helm of affairs in Nigeria; a terrorist cannot end terrorism.

A terrorist is any person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, against people mostly civilians in the pursuit of political aims or religious gains; If this is true then Nigeria’s current President, Muhammadu Buhari is a perfect description of a terrorist.

Last week, many Nigerians were shocked to their marrow by the arrest of the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu in Kenya as sources posit. The intricate bilateral maneuvers and sleuthing that preceded that ‘arrest’ is proof that the Mannequin in Aso Rock actually has the resources and capacity to end terrorism and banditry in the North—and elsewhere in Nigeria. That tells us that if Buhari had a real personal, emotional investment in ending Boko Haram terrorism and banditry, they would have been long eliminated or atleast weakened to the fringes by now. Why that hasn’t happened would be explained in this article.

Prior to manipulating his way to becoming Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has always been caught in the act of always standing in support of terrorists. The reasons are quite easy to trace – They share so many common denominators; From love for Sharia, religious intolerance, stinking illiteracy, domineering psyche, lust for blood and death, and what have you! For Buhari and his handlers, the interest is always to keep him silent because opening his mouth is akin to exposing his mouth which is nothing but a cesspit of foul-smelling hate and his passion to groom terror. For the little number of times he went off the hinges, he was able to tell Nigerians about his dream to introduce Sharia law all over the country if he had the opportunity, according to him during one of his speeches, he dying while implementing Sharia is worth dying for, this is how a terrorist talks. Nigeria’s major terror group, Book Haram needed no soothsayer to tell them that he was one of them, little wonder why in 2013 when they needed a representative to engage the administration of Buhari’s predecessor – Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, they immediately nominated Buhari who neither denounced them or distanced himself from such weighty-carrier terminating nomination.

The furiosity Buhari displays whenever any issue that is disadvantageous to terrorists in Nigeria is numbing. He goes all out to the extent that the pangs of his emotions are barely hidden. Before becoming President, he has during one of his radio interviews insisted the kinetic bombardment of Boko Haram was ‘anti North’, In fact to be more specific, he pointed out that any attack on Boko Haram is an attack on Northern Nigeria. This is a terror group that has gained global prominence in recent years and is currently ranked 2nd in the terror index globally. Buhari’s shameful utterances were all Boko Haram insurgents needed to be emboldened to carry out more ferocious attacks on innocent people in Northern Nigeria, their goal is to violently dissolve the Nigerian State and replace her with a regressive, seventh- Talibanic theocracy, starting from the Northeast which is as obviously Buhari’s loftiest life ambitions.

Despite the overwhelming evidence available for Nigerians to peruse, it was very surprising that they allowed themselves to be deceived in 2015. The terror-loving dictator had shedded his evil habits. On assumption of office, he had laid their gullibility bare. His actions have clearly shown that he is a man on a mission. Aiding and abetting terrorism have become a policy under the Cabal-spearheaded regime which he superintends over. Many of his Government’s actions and inactions have left many Nigerians flummoxed. Handing over the instruments of State to a terrorist was a huge gamble, for someone as irredeemably evil hearted as Buhari, it is even worse. For him there is no moderation, his stark illiteracy notwithstanding.

On many occasions, the Nigerian military came close to arresting Boko Haram’s Abubakar Shekau but ‘orders from above’ always told them to back off. It is easy to deduce that anytime Insurgents are targeted in Nigeria, Buhari would always weep in his coven in the seat of power. A President who commissions his information minister to announce to Nigerians that Boko Haram had been “technically” defeated while still empowering the same sect via high wired ransom payments is a demon that must be treated as one. It is no longer news that to secure the release of a faction of the abducted Chibok girls as well as the Government staged abduction of Dapchi girls, Buhari paid out huge ransoms in foreign currency to his loyal ‘boys’. What a man!

Buhari’s love affair with terrorists saw his government smuggle in a dangerous program which was targeted at rehabilitating and reintegrating “repentant” terrorists. Well, the truth is that these terrorists often go back to their old ways and cause the death of hundreds of Nigerian soldiers thereafter. Old habits die hard and Buhari knows it. What else could be the motive if not to recruit Jihadists while stamping them with legitimacy? Little wonder why an army chief under Buhari’s Government refused to mince words when he said that a repented Boko Haram member may become Nigeria’s President someday. It appears impossible but it’s very possible under Buhari; going by recent political happenings, Nigeria is relentlessly transiting from a pretend democracy to an abject, one-party, fascistic monocracy. Governors and legislators elected on the platform of the PDP are being bludgeoned into switching political party affiliation to the APC, and even the wisest voices of dissent are being crushed with the most brutal State-sanctioned violence. With Nigeria, nothing is impossible.

A few Nigerians were rattled when finding out about Buhari’s Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami’s terrorist mindset. Even though Pantami later admitted espousing the teachings of Al-Queada and Taliban, Buhari vehemently rose against the teeming Nigerians who condemned Pantami, and clothed him with a garment of sainthood. The common truth is; Allowing Pantami, the self confessed supporter of AlQaeda and Taliban, to remain in his strategic post as Minister of Communications and Digital Economy means that, indeed, President Buhari has an agenda to support Islamic extremists. Buhari is a terrorist. No amount of political maneuvers would erase that. Nigerians should know this and know peace.
