Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, is considering offering Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos a two-year contract if the defender doesn’t renew with Real Madrid in the coming days, Africa Daily News, New York has gathered.

City are looking at offering Ramos a tailored contract based on his form and own priorities.

That will be a two-year contract, with the possibility of a third if performance allows. Or the alternative of a spell in Major League Soccer (MLS) at City Football Group’s New York City FC.

Ramos’ contract at the Bernabeu expires on June 30 and his priority is still to renew with Madrid.

However, he will only leave the LaLiga giants if an agreement with president Florentino Perez cannot be reached.

A meeting between Ramos and Perez is planned for the next few days when a definitive decision will be taken.

The English champions however would continue to monitor the situation.
