Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) group has blasted the Catholic Archbishop of Owerri, Most Reverend Anthony Obinna for the part he played in hosting the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma in his parish on Sunday, 23rd of May.
He minced no words as he decried the hospitality the Catholic Archbishop of Owerri, Dr. Obinna showed to the Governor and some of his cabinet members who he hosted in his Sunday program at the Assumpta Cathedral in Owerri, the State’s capital.
Nnamdi Kanu lamented that the Governor who is known to be a saboteur and a monster who enjoys shedding the blood of his people was not supposed to be found in any Christian institution which includes the headquarters of the Catholic institution in Imo State.
In his words:
‘I can’t for the life of me understand why Archbishop Obinna would allow a vagabond and a 419er to enter into his church.’
‘If the catholic church needed money, IPOB can give them money.’
‘What Archbishop Obinna did is wrong, to allow a murderer of his own people to enter into a supposed house of God.’
‘It is an abomination, before God and man, it is wrong and I don’t allow such nonsense.’
‘Today, I am giving out an open warning to all Pastors, Archbishops, Priests or Dibias to avoid having any interactions which Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State. I don’t care if it is an Anglican church or a Methodist church or any other denominations, this is an open warning to all the churches.’
