Today 4th of March is World Book Day.

Cllr. Celia Osakwe-Hibbert urges fellow Imo Diasporans to donate books to disadvantaged kids, send a ‘tenner’ directly to a student back home, read with any family kids; nephew, nieces, grandkids, kids etc, sponsor education for an underprivileged kid at home, this will empower them! She thanks all Diasporans who are already doing this and asks for more to follow suit.

Attached here is the photo of the Special  Adviser to Imo-State Governor on Diaspora reading with her two kids. She has also sponsored a 9 year old in Mbaitoli LGA and an 11 year old in Isu LGA for a full year of Education. Enjoy the World Book Day and send us your ‘action stories or
photos’ towards promoting Education back home in Imo State. All our contact details are on our website www.imodiaspora.com
