One of Imo State’s political juggernauts, Honourable Chiagozie Paddy Junior Obinna has been paid a courtesy visit by the erstwhile Governor of Imo State, Ikedi ‘Ochinanwata’ Ohakim during the weekend.

The young, influential politician, who is also a Knight of Saint John International (KSJI) and former Owerri North House of Assembly contender received the former Governor in his father’s art gallery in Umuocham – Emekukwu.

His father is the renowned British trained graphic artist, painter, sculptor, and politician; Sir Paddy Joseph Obinna who served as a former Special Adviser on Arts and Culture for eight years in the administration of former Governor Rochas Okorocha.

The family of former Governor Ikedi Ohakim and that of the Obinna’s have always held a closely-knit relationship both in politics and off-politics.

The extended visit by the former Governor has shown that he has thrown his full support behind the young and influential Sir Chiagozie Paddy Junior Obinna in his political endeavours. This gesture holds a lot of weight considering the sterling record that Ikedi Ohakim kept in Imo State during his tenure as Governor and his political connections which would prove to be very helpful for the aspiring politician as he sets his eyes on the 2023 Federal House of Representatives.
