A former Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, a critic of Mohammed Buhari Administration and passionate Trump supporter has disclosed the reason the All Progressives Congress, APC, wants US President Donald Trump to lose, the report says.

While speaking in an interview on Tuesday, Fani-Kayode said the reason APC wants Biden as the next US president is because it hoped to receive help from the Democratic to win the 2023 election. It will be noted that the Obama administration helped the then opposition party, APC to unseat ex-President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 general elections.
He disclosed that Biden was critical to the APC winning the 2015 elections and would want him to be in office in order to also win the 2023 elections. Fani-Kayode also noted that the Obama administration refused to sell arms to Nigeria in the middle of a Boko Haram war. The PDP chieftain also faulted Buhari and the APC for congratulating Obama’s party and its candidate in the 2020 US presidential election, Biden.
Many Nigerians, including the former President Goodluck Jonathan have blamed Barack Obama the former US president for helping usher in the current government in power. Jonathan in his book, “My Transition Hour’, accused Obama of meddling in Nigeria’s 2015 election which saw his failure to be re-elected.
