Reports reaching Africa Daily News, New York on the COVID-19 palliative donations in Anambra state show that the Senator representing  Anambra South Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate, Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has been siphoning palliative funds meant for the establishment of Isolation centres in Anambra state. He has also been accused of parading the projects in his campaign itinerary as part of his personal achievements in the region.

The Isolation Centre which is located at his Senatorial district in Anambra South Senatorial District was allegedly constructed by an independent organisation using funds from well-wishers and external donors. It was also documented that Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s contributions to the development of the Isolation centre summed up to One million naira.

But in his campaign advertisements, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah categorically stated that he solely funded and commissioned the Isolation centre and without external aid.

At the rime of filing this report, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah is till yet to refute his claims of sole ownership of the Isolation center.
